The pasta is my favorite in the city! Also tried the caviar with the chips and dip and it was a great starter that I would recommend. Ordered an espresso martini which was not great but the mezcal cocktail was very well mixed. Service was also great although when we first arrived we were seated alllll the way in the back next to the wall and exit sign. Our reservation stated we were celebrating an anniversary so this was not what we were expecting. Thankfully my boyfriend talked to the host and she moved us over to the main room. I'd suggest changing out the lighting and not assigning reservations to the back table especially if a celebration is noted. Saving it for walk ins or large parties makes the most sense.

Potted carrots- 5/5 - I am now a carrot fan. Finished the entire pot and kids loved the puffed dough Cucumbers -4/5- green goddess was too salty; the pickled cucumbers have a chewy texture but I did like the crunchy croutons and anchovies were a nice, surprising touch Ruffles & onion dip- 5/5- love the concept behind this dish & so addictive; ruffles also go well with the carrot dip Stracci -4/5 - pasta was ok but not memorable; lamb was tender but on the salty side; grated pecorino was nice and strong! Rigatoni - 4/5 - not your traditional rigatoni; the fermented tomato & spicy, salty salami was an acquired taste for me but the homemade rigatoni noodle has a great bite Rainbow trout - 5/5 - well cooked and seasoned and topped with crunchy almonds yum! Crème brûlée pie - 5/5 - silky pie with a chewy crust & sprinkled with puff quinoa Gelatos- Kids loved the coffee/pretzel gelato and the cantaloupe/lime gelato. Service - 4.5 - great at first; water always filled and table wiped, but found it odd (given the 25% automatic service charge) that when it came to packing up leftovers, they handed us a bunch of boxes. Ambiance - 5 - cozy, intimate atmosphere; not too loud. It was a pleasant night out. Would recommend trying at least once! If I could I would give it 4.5 stars

The food at Daisies is exceptional, and meant to be family style so you can try a bit of everything. The handmade pastas are the star of the show! We really enjoyed the fried vegetables as an appetizer as well. 4 dishes (2 pastas,and 2 apps) for 2 people was definitely enough as we had leftovers to take home

I was excited to finally try this place and it didn't disappoint! Their menu is primarily pasta dishes (not complaining!) and they use the freshest local ingredients in the dishes which is why the menu is constantly changing. Everything was delicious. The gnocchi was my favorite dish. The place is not too casual and not too upscale and the service was excellent. I look forward to returning to try more dishes and dessert!
